Independent Producers Scotland - Representing the interests of Scottish producers

Independent Producers Scotland (IPS) was set up in 2013 to lobby for more film production in Scotland and to respond to specific challenges that impact on the country's production sector. We support joint promotional activities, liaison with government agencies and work with partners and stakeholders in the UK and across the globe to enhance our members' access to finance, distribution and training.

As a separate country within the United Kingdom, Scotland has a distinct cultural heritage and a wonderful filmmaking tradition. We have some of the most dramatic film locations in Europe and many of the UK's best writers, directors, actors and crews.

IPS is a representative organisation, with an elected Board, open to all professional producers living and working in Scotland. We are open and approachable and welcome new members, whatever their level of experience or mix of production activities.

Together, we make a difference.
